This gorgeous antique Edwardian ring is claw set with a central oval opal and a beautiful halo of twenty individual round white spinel. The opal has a delicate colour play with flashes of yellow, red, orange and some blue. Measuring 16 mm x 10 mm it totals an estimated 8-10 carats. The sparkly white spinel could be mistaken for diamond with their mesmerising brilliance and fire. Carefully crafted in warm 9ct rose hinted gold. Dates to c.1900. A unique Edwardian ring which would make a beautiful and alternative engagement ring.
