A fine antique 9ct gold ring beautifully set with five graduated rubies. The rubies are bright, lively and well matched. They range from 2.5 mm x 2 mm to 4 mm x 3 mm in size, totalling an estimated 0.7 carats. With scroll detailing to either side and a plain shank. These gorgeous rubies are raspberry pink in hue. Traditionally the five stone ring reflects Victorian sentiment where each stone carries a meaning; love, commitment, trust, communication and empathy. Dates to c. 1880s. Set in rose tinted 9ct gold. A perfect ring to wear on its own or stacked with others.
