A beautiful antique 18ct gold jewel dating to the late Georgian era, c.1830s. This pendant probably started out as a drop from an earring or necklace. Converted to a drop pendant during the Victorian era. Designed with Etruscan style wire work and set with three oval gemstones. Two slightly different raspberry red hue tourmaline sit either side of a central stone, which I believe is quartz. Each stone measures 4 mm x 3 mm and is foil backed. There is a ding present to the side of the pendant, please see the photos. This does not detract from the beauty of this piece in my opinion. A beautifully made jewel whose style and design is typical of Georgian jewellery. Please note the chain shown is for demonstration purposes only.
