A beautiful and substantial bespoke gold ring collet set with a large amethyst cabochon. The deep purple amethyst measures 18 mm x 17 mm, estimated to be between 18 – 20 carats. Set within a large domed and beautifully dimpled surface frame. The ring face measures 35mm x 32mm. Dates to c. 1970s.
