Dating to 1861, this beautiful antique piece fits neatly into the mid Victorian era. Designed as an aesthetic three stone ring. Claw set with a central lozenge shape garnet and flanked by two pear shaped garnets. The garnets are a beautiful and rich purplish berry hue with lovely warm undertones. One of the pear shaped garnets is more pinkish plum in hue adding delicate and subtle interest to this antique piece. The stones are open backed, allowing the light to shine through. The ring face measures 8 mm x 18 mm. With an engraved shank. Please note there is a small chip to the side of the lozenge shape garnet, this does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece in my opinion. Lovingly set in 12ct gold.
