A beautifully designed and well made 9ct gold ring designed as an opening locket. The locket front has been engraved with scrolling foliate details. Flanked by fleur-de-lis shoulders and on a plain shank. The locket face measures 16 mm x 12 mm and the interior measures 15 mm x 9 mm. A fascinating and aesthetically pleasing jewel, with a touch of novelty too. Dates to the 1970s.
