A beautiful, fascinating and unusual antique French jewel. This gorgeous Art Nouveau piece is reminiscent of a Claude Monet painting in miniature I think. The colours gently blend together creating a visually pleasing palette. Designed as a small enamel on copper oval shaped plaque, set in rich 18ct gold. The enamel measures 15 mm x 9 mm. This jewel has been designed as a brooch pin I believe, with two hooks to the back. It looks lovely worn on a piece of velvet or lace. Please note the pins are sharp. Signed Bonnadier, Limoges. Dates to the turn of the 20th century, c. 1900s. The boxes shown are for demonstration purposes.
