Dating to the turn of the 20th century, this beautiful antique 18ct gold ring is claw set with sapphires and a yellow stone I believe to be chalcedony. The sapphires are a gorgeous mid velvet blue and measure 5 mm x 3 mm and 4 x 3 mm, totalling an estimated 0.80 carats. The yellow stone cabochons are a beautiful honey hue and measure 3.3 mm x 3 mm each. On a plain shank. Dates to c. 1900. This combination of blue and yellow is aesthetically pleasing and unusual, I have not seen a piece quite like it before.
