Dating to the early 20th century, this beautiful antique opal bangle bracelet is set with thirteen oval shaped opals and mini diamond spacers. The opals display a vibrant play of predominantly green and blue hues. The largest opal measures 7 mm x 5 mm and the smallest opals measure 4 mm x 3 mm. On a gorgeous openwork band with a push close clasp, hinge and safety chain. Please note one of the smallest opals has a minor chip to the side, this does not detract from the overall beauty of the piece in my opinion. An aesthetic piece of English antique jewellery assayed in Chester. Chester assay office had a long history of almost 600 years and ceased in 1962, making pieces desirable, collectible and great investments. The box shown is for demonstration purposes.
