Dating to the end of the 18th century, this magical piece is a gorgeous example of antique Georgian jewellery and very typically English. Set with a beautiful dendritic agate that displays leaf-like branches. Set with a border of flat cut garnets. With a button back and enclosed setting. The garnet and dendritic agate cluster measures 15 mm x 12 mm. On a simple brooch fitting with a c style clasp. Beautiful when worn as a brooch, chain extender or on a piece of lace or velvet. Two of the garnets have nibbles to their edges, as would be expected of a piece this age.
