Dating to the mid 19th century, this delightful antique piece fits neatly into the early Victorian era. Designed as a sweet carnelian bottle pendant with 9ct gold screw top. The shaft inside the bottle is minuscule, intended to hold only a tiny volume. Perhaps for perfume. The carnelian is a rich and vibrant marmalade orange and looks so beautiful held against the light.
