Dating to the c.1840s – 1850s, this beautiful antique fits neatly into the early Victorian era. Designed as a 9ct gold jewellery clasp, gorgeously pie crust set with a central 9 mm warm and sunny yellow foil backed paste. Surrounded by a delicious halo of pearls. Cluster measures 14 mm in diameter. The push close clasp closes nice and tight with a satifiying click. Flanked by two hoops to either side, ready to suspend strands.
