Dating to the late 1800s, c.1880s, this antique riviere bracelet fits neatly into the Victorian era. Designed as a gorgeous line of hand cut oval shaped amethysts. The amethysts are a rich mid purple, each one being beautifully matched, and faceted so an array of purple hues can be seen when twisted in the light. A subtle graduated line, they range in size from 10 mm x 7 mm to 11 mm x 9 mm to the largest 12 mm x 8 mm central stone. Estimated to total 35.6 carats. Each amethyst has been individually set in a bezel style setting with a crown gallery. With an oval push close clasp and safety chain. The clasp opens and closes nice and tight. A gorgeous example of English antique 9ct gold jewellery.
