Dating to first few decades of the 20th century, this classic piece fits neatly into the Art Deco era. Claw set with a central old cut diamond estimated to be 0.48 carats. The diamond is a beautiful and slightly unusual oval rectangular shape. It is bright, light and very lively. Set on a knife edge pin, perfect to wear as a brooch or chain extender. The brooch fastening has been lovingly made with a push pull release mechanism known as a trombone catch. A lovely example of fine quality antique jewellery. With maker’s mark Kuhn.
