This exquisitely made brooch pin is claw set with a central oval opal. The opal shows a very good colour play with vibrant flashes of predominantly green, yellow and orange. The geometric bar has an 18ct white gold front and yellow gold fitting to the back. With a safety latch. Being beautifully versatile, this bar brooches is perfect to wear on its own and a can also be used as a chain enhancer or lengthener. Dates to c.1910 – 1920.
