Dating to the early 20th century, this exquisite jewel fits neatly into the Edwardian era, c.1900s. Designed as a ladies wind up watch, she keeps good time and her enclosed movement works beautifully. Gorgeously decorated with a royal blue enamel case to the front and back, detailed with Roman Numerals, Greek Key design and scrolling leaves. There is a blank cartouche that could be lovingly engraved with initials. This watch face measures 28 mm in diameter, flanked by a rich 15ct gold curb link chain that measures 5 mm wide. With a push close clasp, safety catch and safety chain. Please note there is a chip to the enamel on the back bottom edge and a small surface scratch to the enamel on the front, these do not detract from the overall beauty of the piece in my opinion.
