A naturalistically designed and beautifully crafted 9ct gold Victorian brooch. Set with three sumptuous cushion shaped berry hue garnets. The garnets measure 7 x 6 mm, 9 x 6 mm, 7 x 6 mm respectively totalling an estimated 4.5 carats. They are purplish-red in hue with a gorgeous hint of pomegranate. The brooch has a slightly curved profile and a closed back with a traditional ‘c’ clasp. A beautiful piece of artistry and history, this brooch dates to c.1860s.
