A striking and beautifully made brooch. With a substantial central citrine, measuring 30 mm x 24, totalling an estimated 40 carats. The citrine is a deep and rich honey colour with a hint of cinnamon. It has been set with unusual triangular form claws, creating a sun burst design. A bail could easily be added to the frame to turn this into an exceptional pendant. Dates to 1910. By maker’s C Michael & Co.
