Dating to the c.1940s, possibly a little earlier, this sweet piece is a beautiful and useful tool. Gorgeously detailed with ‘Bravingtons, For Rings, Strand & Brompton Road’ on the front. This ring sizer would have been used to check finger measurements in the Bravingtons Jewellery stores. Bravingtons are a well renowned fine quality British jewellers, specialising in engagement rings and watches, from the early 20th century. They no longer trade and Bravingtons pieces are highly collectable. A lovely, useful piece of British jewellery history. Please note the box shown is for demonstration purposes.
