A beautiful pair of Antique late Georgian flat cut garnet earrings dating to c. 1830s. Each earring is designed as a stylized flowerhead. 8 x 3 mm square garnets surround a central 6 mm round garnet. An estimated total of 4 carats. The raspberry red garnets are set in sterling silver. With 9ct gold screw back fittings. Closed foil back settings. Garnets are in good condition for their age, a couple of small cracks and nibbles present. A fine example of English antique Georgian jewellery.
