An aesthetic antique jewel, beautifully made with late Victorian and Edwardian jewellery components to create a delicate drop necklace. This bespoke piece has been lovingly created with oval moonstones and an old cut diamond, suspended from a fine trace chain with antique barrel clasp. The suspended moonstones have lovely movement and catch the light beautifully. Gently shimmering, they display gorgeous blue adularescence. This ethereal sheen appears to ripple across the gemstone’s surface. The moonstones are set with a crown and claw style setting. They measure 10 mm x 8 mm and 9.5 x 8 mm. The old cut diamond is a lovely quality stone, bright, white and very lively. It measures 5 mm wide, with a high crown, and estimated to be 0.5 carats. The pendant drop measures 52 mm long.
