A beautifully vibrant Victorian amethyst in a 15ct gold double claw and rope twist detail frame. This aesthetic piece was originally an antique component and has been lovingly created into a unique conversion necklace. The amethyst is a mid rich purple hue and gorgeously saturated. It measures 19 mm x 14 mm, totalling an estimated 8.0 carats. Suspended from a facetted belcher chain with barrel clasp. The chain measures 3 mm wide. Please note the box shown is for demonstration purposes. The amethyst is in its original c.1860s frame and the chain is a later Victorian piece dating to the end of the 19th century.
