Dating to the early 19th century, this beautiful antique 9ct gold pendant has been designed as a glazed locket. Sweetly shaped with a graduated frame and a slightly domed profile. The glass section opens at the back with a delightful miniature hinge. Opens and closes nice and tight. The central glazed compartment measures 8 mm in diameter. Please note the chain shown is for demonstration purposes. A few minor surface scratches present to the glass, these are in keeping with age, none are considered substantial. A beautiful and rare piece of antique Georgian jewellery, perfect for tiny keep sakes.
