A Late Victorian antique locket, beautifully made in rich 15ct gold. This aesthetically designed pendant has a graduated seed pearl set scallop frame and a central oval shape double glazed locket compartment. The locket opens with a bottom to top movement and has a push close beaded fastening, that closes nice and tight. The glass has been gorgeously bevelled and measures 23 mm x 18 mm. A perfect antique 15ct gold jewel for keeping an array of pictures, gemstones, fresh flowers or petals and special keep sakes. Dates to c. 1880s – 1900.
