Dating to the early 20th century, c. 1900- 1910, this exceptional piece fits neatly into the Edwardian era. Designed as a cross and beautifully set with rose cut diamonds, old cut diamonds and vari shape mini sapphires. The love and care taken to create this jewel is inspirational I think, every detail being so carefully considered and finely made. The front of the cross has been topped in platinum and the back is 18ct gold. An estimated total of 1.0 carat of diamonds. Each finial is gorgeously designed with scallop edging and sweet milgrain details can be seen throughout. Please note the chain and box shown are for demonstration purposes. An exquisite antique piece that displays impressive craftmanship that is characteristic of fine antique jewellery. Believed to be French in origin.
