Dating to the c. 1860s, this beautiful antique piece fits neatly into the mid Victorian era. Designed as an oval cluster pendant exquisitely set with a central ruby and diamond starburst. The raspberry pink ruby measures 5 mm x 5 mm and each tiny rose cut diamond is approximately 1 point. Beautifully surrounded by deep sky blue enamel and a halo of creamy white and lustrous pearls. Lovingly made in rich 18ct gold. This aesthetic antique jewel is of superb quality and quintessential of English jewellery design during the 19th century. Pieces in this lovely condition are hard to find and such examples will scarcely be made again. Perfect to wear on its own or as part of a pendant collection.
