This adorable antique piece dates to the mid Victorian era. Designed as a perched bird, gorgeously detailed with twinkling rose cut diamonds and a raspberry hue eye. Originally part of an antique brooch and lovingly converted into a pendant. Birds have long captured our hearts and imagination and are symbolic in jewellery design, often being used to represent love, prosperity, hope and freedom.
