A vintage 9ct gold ring set with an elongated oval garnet cabochon. The garnet is a beautiful berry red hue with a hint of cinnamon and measures 15 mm x 7 mm. Decorated with an openwork scallop frame. The ring face measures 20 mm x 12 mm. With split detail shoulders and on a plain shank. Dates to the 1970s.
