A 20th century ring beautifully designed as a platinum five stone. Set with four bright and lively marquise diamonds, each estimated to be 10 points. With a central, vibrant emerald green, 5 mm x 4 mm oval shaped paste, which may be a replacement stone. This beautifully green paste bursts against the sparkling white diamonds and platinum. The use of brightly coloured gemstones, with diamonds and white precious metals, was characteristic of the Art Deco period during the early 1910s and 1920s. This aesthetic ring is slightly later, dating to c.1940s. A perfect piece to wear on its own or stack with others.
