An unusual Antique Victorian 18ct gold ring set with old cut diamonds and tantalising sapphires. The diamonds are full of character with high crowns and hand cut facets, which catch the light beautifully as you twist this jewel in the light. The central diamond measures 4 mm in diameter and the two smaller diamonds measures 3mm each. An estimated total of 0.45 carats. With two vivid cornflower blue sapphires, which add a delicate touch of colour. This hue of stone is typical of Ceylon sapphires. They each measure 3.3 mm in diameter. The ring has a decorative scroll work gallery and plain shank. This delightful antique piece would make a beautiful engagement ring. Dating to the end of the 19th century to the turn of the 20th century.
