A very unusual and beautiful 18ct gold ring dating to the end of the Georgian era, 1833. Set with a velvet blue, cushiony cut sapphire and a line of cutie seed pearls in a horseshoe shape. Lucky horseshoe rings were popular at the end of the Georgian and into the Victorian period, yet I haven’t seen one quite like this before. The ring face measures 8 mm x 8 mm. Flanked by stepped shoulders and a plain shank. With beautiful hallmarks inside. A lovely example of antique English 18ct gold jewellery.
Measurements: UK ring size K 1/2 or US size 5 3/8
