A classically designed cushion cut sapphire and old cut diamond five stone ring. Claw set with a central 4 mm sapphire, flanked by two 3 mm bright, white and well matched old cut diamonds and a further two small sapphires. An estimated 0.45 carats sapphires and 0.30 carats diamonds. With a scroll work detailed gallery and a plain shank. Dates to the c. 1880s and snugly into the late Victorian period. A beautiful quality antique jewel with fine stones, set in warm 18ct gold.
