This sweet antique ring dates to the end of the Victorian era, c. 1890s. Beautifully set with a delicate row of creamy white and lustrous pearls in rich 15ct gold. 15ct gold was hallmarked in the United Kingdon between 1854 and 1931. The combination of the warmth of this high carat gold together with the short period it was used in jewellery make it desirable among collectors. Here, the largest pearl to the centre measures 3 mm and the ring face measures 5 mm wide. The pearls are in wonderful condition with gorgeous silk like lustre. On a plain shank. A beautiful piece to wear on its own or stuck with others.
