This beautiful antique 15ct gold ring, set with a central oval garnet, dates to the middle of the 19th century. The garnet is a sweet purplish red berry hue and measures 5 mm x 3 mm. Framed by 8 individually set creamy white pearls. The lustrous pearls show a little variation in hue. The ring face measures 9 mm x 14 mm and is slightly domed in profile. Flanked by tapered shoulders and a plain shank. A lovely and aesthetic piece of antique English jewellery.
