This unique 18ct yellow and white gold detail ring has been beautifully designed as an openwork quatrefoil. With a vibrant, Colombian quality 4 mm x 3 mm emerald to the centre. The emerald is untested for origin but has exquisite qualities such as its lush bluish-green colour and the internal glow, which is characteristic of South American stones. With a bright and lively diamond surround, totalling an estimated 0.5 carats. The diamonds are vari-sized and well matched. The ring face measures 15 mm in diameter. Dates to c.1940-50s. Likely to be Continental in origin.
