This exquisite and finely made ring is claw set with a central 11 mm x 9 mm ruby. The ruby is of good colour, well saturated and has some minor visible inclusions. Ruby totals 4.25 carats. Some possible treatment to the ruby. Surrounded by a double halo of vari-cut diamonds. The beautiful diamonds are very bright, lively and well matched, making this an incredibly sparkly ring. An estimated total diamond weight of 1.85 carats. Set in 18ct white gold with stepped shoulders and a plain shank. This ring would make a perfect engagement ring, heirloom piece or special gift. Dates to c. 1930-40s, sitting neatly in the late Art Deco era.
