Dating to the last quarter of the 19th century, this antique 18ct gold ring fits neatly into the Victorian era. Beautifully claw set with an old cut diamond in a buttercup or belcher style setting. The diamond is bright, lively and displays a gorgeous open culet and high crown. Diamond measures 5 mm in diameter and is estimated to be 0.50 carats. Open backed setting allowing the light to shine through. Ring face measures 9 mm wide. Dates to c.1880s.
