A colourful and aesthetically designed 18ct gold bombe design ring. Gorgeously pave set with fiery opals. The opals have a strong play of colour with flashes of green, orange, red, blue and yellow. The ring face measures 12 mm in diameter. On a plain shank. Please note a couple of the opals have small nibbles, which do not detract from the overall beauty and liveliness of this piece in my opinion. Dates to c.1960s.
